LEDC Street Theater

During the summer of 2006, LEDC produced a bilingual, musical play with DC’s Gala Hispanic Theater and performed it in the streets at outdoor festivals, telling the story of a family trying to improve their housing situation. The characters learned necessary information to purchase a home including the services they could access to help them along the way.

By using popular education LEDC educates through entertainment, reaching a wider audience of potential homebuyers and speaking to their dreams with familiar characters and scenes.
